Description
Albuca nelsonii is an evergreen, bulbous plant which grows in clumps. The plant has large, fleshy, strap shaped leaves, with short, dense spikes of white striped green flowers and is excellent for planting under trees in "dry shade".
Natural Habitat
It is a summer rainfall species found in partially shades areas in grassland and in coastal areas
Use in Landscape
Albuca nelsonii is well suited to mass plantings in mixed grassland flower beds or in rockeries, especially in informal gardens. The flower spikes can also be used as cut flowers.
