Description
Calodendrum capense is a slow growing, medium to large tree with a rounded crown. The leaves are a glossy, dark green. The bark is smooth grey and the tree produces masses of pink flowers in clusters at the end of branches in summer.
Natural Habitat
It grows mainly in forests and kloofs, as well as riverine bush from sea level to 2000m
Use in Landscape
This is an excellent specimen tree for parks and large areas. It can be used in containers.
